Turaqistan adalah sebuah negara yang diduduki oleh sebuah perusahaan swasta Amerika. Dalam upaya untuk memonopoli peluang dari Turaqistan yang sedang berperang, CEO perusahaan tersebut menyewa seorang pembunuh bernama Hauser (John Cusack) untuk melenyapkan seorang menteri perminyakan asal Timur Tengah. Hauser harus berjuang sendiri dan berperan sebagai produser pameran dagang untuk melaksanakan aksinya. Tidak hanya itu, ia juga harus mempertahankan penyamarannya dengan mengorganisir pernikahan akbar seorang penyanyi Timur Tengah bernama Yonica Babyyeah (Hillary Duff), dan tetap mengawasi seorang reporter sayap kiri (Marisa Tomei).

A political satire set in Turaqistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation. In an effort to monopolize the opportunities the war-torn nation offers, the corporation's CEO hires Hauser (John Cusack), a troubled hit man, to kill a Middle East oil minister. Struggling with his own demons, Hauser must pose as the corporation's Trade Show Producer in order to pull off this latest hit, while maintaining his cover by organizing the high-profile wedding of Yonica Babyyeah (Hillary Duff), an outrageous Middle Eastern pop star, and keeping a sexy left wing reporter (Marisa Tomei) in check.
